Cookie Policy
Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 18, 2026
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on dryatlas.com, operated by Dry Atlas LLC.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work. Others help us understand how the site is used. Related technologies, including local storage, work in a similar way and are covered by this policy.
2. What we use, and why
Strictly necessary
These make the site work. The site cannot function properly without them and they cannot be turned off from within the site.
- WordPress session and login cookies. Set when you log in to your account, so the site knows you are signed in and can show you what your subscription includes. Deleted when you log out, or after a set period.
- Cloudflare. Set by our security and content delivery provider to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated traffic and to serve pages quickly.
- Stripe. Set by our payment processor to process payments and detect fraud during checkout.
- Consent preferences. Stores your privacy choices so we do not have to ask again on every page.
Analytics
- Google Analytics 4. Records pages viewed, how you arrived at the site, approximate location from IP address, and browser and device type. We use this to understand which research and which parts of the site are actually read. IP anonymization is applied by default on Google Analytics 4 properties.
What we do not currently use
We do not currently use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, social media tracking pixels, or third-party marketing trackers, and we do not currently run advertising on the site. If we add any of these, we will update this policy.
3. How to control cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Every major browser lets you block all cookies, block third-party cookies only, delete existing cookies, or browse privately. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break logging in and checkout.
To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. It applies to every site you visit, not just this one.
If your browser supports Global Privacy Control, you can turn it on to signal your preference automatically.
For the full picture of what we collect and your rights over it, including the Do Not Sell or Share request route, see our Privacy Policy.
4. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the technologies we use change. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
